Vanessa and I spent the weekend in Carmel. Some photo highlights are up at Flickr. Of note are the awesome automobiles we saw (Lincoln Versailles! flames galore!) and Vanessa’s super-special French toast, which was basically a piece of toast turned into an elephant ear you would get at the state fair.

Sea horses!

Vanessa and I were in Carmel over the weekend. On Sunday we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which has a new (to us) sea horse exhibit. They are very cool creatures. I put the photos up on Flickr; slide show below. I took these photos with my new “SLR,” the Panasonic GF1. I’ll have to add the videos as well.
