Mino and Meghan joined me in Carmel for a relaxing weekend filled with soccer viewing and good weather. (Certainly better weather than what there is back in NYC right now, with highs around 100 over the weekend–yikes!) On Sunday, we walked down to the beach to take in the surf, the thick smoke from camp fires and the nice views.

Vanessa and I were in Carmel over the weekend. On Sunday we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which has a new (to us) sea horse exhibit. They are very cool creatures. I put the photos up on Flickr; slide show below. I took these photos with my new “SLR,” the Panasonic GF1. I’ll have to add the videos as well.
