On Sunday, Vanessa’s lifelong friend, Jamie, and her old roommate, Brady, met up with us for a walk through the Mission over to Dolores Park, where we soaked in some of the unseasonably good weather. I decided that a nice theme for the day would be to capture all the hilarious hipster outfits with my camera. Note that higher quality photos are up at my Flickr photoset.
We begin our tour with this gentleman walking down Mission Street. I actually captured this photo earlier in the week, but it’s a perfect accompaniment for Sunday’s photos.
Next up is this woman in awesome tights at a sidewalk sale. Note that you can see some sort of power shovel device laying on the sidewalk on the right side of the photo. I kinda wish I had bought that.

Once we got to the park, we saw these two hipsters rocking it tuff.

The two gals in bikinis were acommpanied by a guy (I think) in all black, video taping their every move. For $3, you could hit them with water balloons. I only saw one group take them up on that offer.

What is this couple looking at? A woman (at center in the righthand photo) who spent ten minutes walking around in her underwear by the bathroom in the park, periodically bending over, the whole time holding on to her jeans with one hand. I am assuming that she is crazy.

This guy had a sweet staff. He appeared to be selling something from his rolling cooler.

A run-of-the-mill outfit, tight and black.

Jamie, Brady and Vanessa, enjoying the scenery.

This hipster couple’s fashion was highlighted by the dude’s shortie shorts that he stripped down to for sunbathing.

Tight, tight jeans on this person.

Awesome chow chow.

The guy at the center, in the hat, was playing some amazing air drums for a couple songs. Even the dog in the right foreground was into it.

Um, no idea why they were putting up a tent. After almost getting it erected, either they failed at the very end or gave up.

And…more awesome shorts. None of my shorts or jeans are tight enough, based on the prevailing fashion.

Finally, on the way home, we encountered this gentleman. He looked a little old to be shooting for ironic hipster, so let’s just classify it as, um, unique.
