The Hopp Stop

Nevius weighs in on one of the annoyances of life in SF. Last night I saw a bum with a shopping cart passing off his cart full of containers to someone with one of those old pickups with wooden bed walls–specialization in the field!

Sweet. I think Blake intro'ed me to them back in high school.

I've felt what Robin Hilton posts about here: loving an album or band to death, getting burned out and then coming back to that band after a few years and loving them all over again.

Not as funny as the Shatner impression, but still funny.

Damn funny. My favorite: a cell phone music festival. "Would you rather watch a rock show through your cell-phone camera than ever actually look at the stage? Do you like to review the pictures you have just taken while still at the concert, even though the concert is still happening? Would you rather capture a moment than experience it?"

I'm not a programmer, but still find this step-through a feature addition to NetNewsWire to be very interesting.
