My Sony pocket cam has died on me, so I'm in the market for a new compact cam. There are some interesting high-end point-and-shoot cameras, with manual controls and great image quality while much easier to tote around than an SLR. This is a good combo test from a top photo review site.

I *loved* my Ricoh GR Digital–so much fun to have around. I have friends that are very happy with the Caplio as well.
