Another site on the Fox. Good news: the theatre is a 1 minute walk from the 19th Street BART stop in Oakland–less walking from BART than the Warfield, and no sketch Civic Center walk necessary. Although I have no idea what the neighborhood is like in that part of Oakland.

I was wondering why all these indie rock shows that would normally be at the Fillmore or the Warfield are now being scheduled at the Fox Theatre in Oakland. The answer is that the venue just re-opened on February 5 and is Another Planet Entertainment's flagship music venue.
