Interesting interview for the fans.

Yikes, the Sports Guy takes a look at the NBA's cash flow problems.

Look at the Union Square retail situation. A Skechers (or some competitor) store also just closed on Market by the Rite Aid on the map, across from the Four Seasons hotel. I don't know anyone who shops at that Virgin--super expensive compared to Amazon, and a pedestrian selection compared to Aquarius, Rasputin or Amoeba.

Good review. I've had my Kindle 2 for a day and agree with just about everything in the review. The biggest upgrade so far, as Ars highlights, is that reading newspapers (and magazines) is now viable on the device, due to a faster screen refresh and improved navigation within periodicals.

I've been toying with installing OS X on my Samsung netbook, but haven't because 1) it's not idiot-proof--I can do it, but a bit of a pain, 2) no sound output currently under OS X and 3) Windows has been fine for all the net-related activities I do when away from my Mac Pro.
-
Very slick. Time for some improved features from Apple.

Some good stuff on divorce from the Logic of Life. I'm going to have to check this book out.
-
Nice, the Pineapple Express clip from the Oscars.
-
Hilarious. "If you see only one version of Forrest Gump this year, see Benjamin Button."

Playing around with photo viewer
I saw PictoBrowser on another site and figured I'd give it a try. Here are the photos from Carolyn's birthday.
