  • This is something that I've highlighted as a sine qua non for the iPhone to become a legitimate game machine–hard-wired controls. There is a limit to the games that you can play when a touch screen or tilt sensor are the only input methods.

    Apparently the blog author is not a gamer, based on this laughable statement at the end of the post:

    "Game development for the iPhone generally requires a different way of thinking when it comes to controls. The standard d-pad has been around for a long time, and I'm not sure how I feel about the regression into an old way of thinking."
