The Hopp Stop

Vanessa and I are heading to Europe tomorrow night for our BMW driving adventure. I just learned from austria.info (Austria’s tourist info site) that Austria requires the following for all drivers:

Reflective Safety Vest
Drivers are required to carry a Reflective Safety Vest in their car at all times. This new regulation is required by law and is subject to heavy fines. Please check with your car rental company before entering Austria to ensure a Reflective Safety Vest is located in the car.

I think Vanessa and I are just going to wear these full-time to be safe. You never know when you need that extra visibility.

  I don’t understand record labels. The album is “in the can,” apparently meaning recorded in music-speak. So why isn’t it out until October 21? Do they just want it to be leaked? The Wolf Parade guys were semi-complaining about that in the latest Spin.
