Guitar Hero 2 is coming out on Xbox 360 next week. The games comes with a guitar that you “play” along with the music. Everything I’ve heard is that it is really fun. What may seal the deal for a purchase is the track list in the game–check out the list below. Awesome. I can picture playing a little Hangar 18 or Cherry Pie with the DRA while drinking some Colt, maybe right before we burn a Christmas tree in the street.
Also, I’m writing this from Que Tal, the coffee shop. There is a semi-crazy guy who is loudly giving a Spanish language instruction to another guy while discussing politics. He also smells somewhat like he doesn’t bathe enough. And whenever he makes a particularly loud point, he looks around to make eye contact with everyone nearby. Maybe you’ve figured out that I can do without this guy’s presence. He should leave and hang out with the pseudo-homeless guy on Elizabeth Street.

Monkey Wrench is a great song but clearly everyone would have to play Cherry Pie. Secret fact about me: Message in a Bottle is what the cast performed the time I was in the studio audience of Kids Incorporated.
Yeah, this sounds like a can’t lose game, and given that the weather is turning to BBQ season, sounds like the perfect activity for post-meat/fake meat consumption.
