A note on the site’s appearance

March 27th, 2007 § 1

So, the site appearance has been a bit schizo lately as I try to settle in on a good theme. Ultimately I’m going to have to put in a little Photoshop time, but haven’t had the chance to do so yet. Sorry for the changes.

Also, for some reason the site periodically resets to the default theme (you can pick different themes on the web publishing platform I use, WordPress, to change appearance globally). I’m not sure who the pig fucker is, WordPress or my web host, but it’s pretty annoying. Whenever it’s this ghetto blue, plain theme, the site has defaulted to it. Ah, gotta love technology, never quite works as promised.

Speaking of which, I’m still waiting to hear back from tech support on my NAS drive. I may have discovered a similar problem resolved in a forum thread, so I’m going to try to post on that forum and see if I get a response. Just make sure you never buy anything from Infrant.

In Firefox I also get that the left margin of text goes about half a character off the viewable page (with the brown/trees template).
